Why do Christians give?

"…according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord." —2 Corinthians 8:3

When we, in gratitude and honor of God, give from our resources - be they financial, intellectual, or physical—to further God’s love throughout the world, we live the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is, we express our belief that everything we have is a gift from the one true God who in calling us to serve one another equips us to do so by giving us enough to take care of our needs as well as the needs of others. It is through this generous giving-receiving-giving cycle that we express our trust in God and our love for others (2 Corinthians 9:7-8, 1 Chronicles 29:14, Deuteronomy 14:23, John 13-15).

Financial donations may be made by check or cash in the offering boxes in the sanctuary, by checks in the mail, or by e-check or credit cards via this DONATE button as recurring or one-time gifts (fee optional). Along with the general fund you may also give to other funds such as: Mercy Fund, Youth Mission, and Memorials.
